We are happy to announce the start of the EU IHI project IMAGIO on interventional cancer therapies, which is coordinated by Philips Healthcare. Within this project, we received 3.6 Mio € funding for research on Magnetic Resonance-guided High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (MR-HIFU) for treatment of sarcomas.

We are excited that this project also allows us to bring the concept of temperature-responsive liposomal drug delivery systems activated by MR-HIFU from years of preclinical research into a clinical trial together with our partner Thermosome GmbH. The trial is expected to start in the second phase of the project.
